Additional Comments

The game comes close to "Platinum" but for the stuttering sound effects during the intro I give it "Gold".

Joystick/Gamepad
by A.G.R. on Wednesday September 28th 2011, 22:09
None of the testers of this game mentioned anything about controls. On my machine (openSUSE 11.4, one Sidewinder 3D Pro Plus and one No-Name PS2-Gamepad on a USB-Converter, working well in games like X-Wing vs. TIE-fighter and I-War) stick movements don't do anything in Flatout. One button controls the handbrake, another one the camera, but driving doesn't work at all.

WIth my current configuration (Ubuntu 11.04 64 Bit, Radeon flgrx graphics driver), it also works flawlessly.

Yup; works great too on a Mac using wineskin. Have IMAC with Nvidia 9400M Graphics.

It says debugger is detected

I suspect this is a Wine regression bug but I could be wrong. I downloaded and installed the game from GOG.com so it shouldn't be a drm problem.
My OS is OpenSUSE 11.2 AMD-64 and my wine version is 1.1.35
