Additional Comments
The built in library browser does not work due to an apparent bug in Wine's handling of local Flash files. ( http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19608 ) However, the Library GUI can be accessed via Firefox by installing the Wndows version of Firefox and the Flash Plugin using the Winetricks script. The library can then be opened in the Windows Firefox by browsing to the file Poser 8/Runtime/ui/Flex/LSMGUI/bin-release/LSMGUI.html after Poser 8 has been started. It works normally except that drag-n-drop to the Viewport does not work.
The Firefox workaround will allow the addition of additional external Runtime folders. The file dialog window may be behind the Firefox window, so don't do it with Firefox maximized. I symlink the folder containing the content into ~home/.wine/drive_c/
Without this bug I would give it a Platinum rating.

library fix
by Andreas Jankowiak on Sunday November 28th 2010, 18:00
I'm using PoserPro 2010 on Wine 1.2.1
My workaround for the library problem is an unfortunally non-free replacement ShaderWorks Library Manager. It works on the Python engine and works for me. I won't do more promotion, so no link. Just do a search
