What works
Installing the game, opening the game and start a race
What does not
Leaving from a race after passed finish.
Install Trackmania using the installer (DVD), it works flawlessly
Download this archive and put the two dlls into the game's folder and in /drive_c/windows/system32
Check and Install game updates (the Launcher has an option for checking and downloading updates)
Modify the graphic options acording to your pc's power: it's known that high graphical settings (advanced shaders, motion blur and so on) can be unstable: if TM hangs or it's very slow, reduce graphical details
Play!
Note: when loading information from Internet, like Manialinks or ladders (for example, in the main menu or when selecting a track), the game will probably freeze for some seconds (from 0,5s to about 3s). It's a common issue but it's not a big problem in my opinion.

Has anybody managed to run Trackmania with xmonad as window manager?
I've tried but it won't work, it just goes to the screen with the spinning globe and freezes (but it works with other window manager perfectly also other games work well with xmonad).
