Menus show garbled by Dennis on Saturday November 6th 2010, 7:48 Hi all, i managed to get FM 2010 up and running except it still has 1 annoying bug.. The Menus are all glitching and annoying, when the mouse cursor is moved across the screen then the menus get all messed up like 2 layers of menus are shown at the same time. I suspect this to be a video driver or direct3d setting but i dont have any idea how to fix this... Anyone has any clue about how this can be fixed? Distr.: Ubuntu 10.04; Wine ver.: 1.2 release; Game ver.: 10.1; I have installed directx9, vcrun2005, vcrun2005_sp1 and wininet with winetricks, also in winecfg, I have disabled option "allow pixel shader", enabled virtual desktop with 1280x1024 resolution, added string in "OffscreenRenderingMode" regedit with value "pbuffer". Error on Install by Higo on Monday February 1st 2010, 12:59 Hello, I'm having a problem to install FM 2010 on my desktop. I insert the disc on the drive, excecute the "setup.exe" and I got the following: img200.imageshack.us/i/capturadetelace.png/ In English, it means: "Select another temporary place where the installer should" and options are "Choice" and "Cancel"... I've tried to select the folder windows/temp, but it was unsucessfull. Installation problem by Aristotelis Mikropoulos on Saturday November 28th 2009, 14:06 Hello. I use Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10 and have the latest (as of now) wine installed (wine-1.1.33). I have got an ISO image of the game CD. I mount the image with sudo mount -o loop and I get the contents. I double click on setup.exe and it runs. I select English as the installation language and I click Next. But then, while a gauge loads, I get an error message box saying "Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported" and then about using the -i option with -i Console or -i Silent, but these fail too. I have replaced the dll with the one recommended on the guide, and installed wininet through winetricks. Any help, please? Thanks a lot, in advance. [post new] [reply to this]
