QuickBooksSimpleStartDirect2009.exe install package pre-install extraction.
What does not
Had to copy mfc42u.dll and msvcp80.dll into c:/windows/system to move past errors.
Skipped the update download.
Installation fails with MS Visual C++ Runtime Library error: "Program c:\windows\system32\msiexec.exe R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information."
Run installer, choose not to check for critical updates during installation.
Installation will fail. This application does not currently work under Wine.

quickbooks 2010 will not install

I am trying to install quickbooks 2010 with wine 1.2.1 on ubuntu 10.10. I have done a few things with regedit and winetricks and wine config but so far no luck. It seems to have issues with talking to the quickbooks server, possible to get my license key. The quickbooks initial screen comes up and then the install screen but then it just sits there. My latest complaint deals with winsock:
