The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
Graphics, gameplay, sound effects... basically, everything except background music.
What does not
There are several bugs involving the background music:
* The game crashes on exit if MP3 playback is available (see additional comments)
* Background music stops playing when gameplay starts; it eventually comes back later in the game, when a different song is played
* Getting killed while BGM is playing blanks the screen temporarily and can make the music stop playing
* The game sporadically freezes (temporarily) near the end
Using native mciqtz32.dll sort of helps the background music, but it seems to interfere with attempts to switch to a different song. If you have an MP3-enabled build and don't care about the BGM, you can disable it (and the associated problems) by setting winemp3.acm to disabled in winecfg.
What was not tested
Nothing.
Additional Comments
The packaged Wine build for Ubuntu 9.10 x64 (among others) doesn't include MP3 playback, so background music won't play by default. A workaround for this is listed in the Wine FAQ. Alternately, you can compile libmpg123 and Wine from source.
