The test results for this version are very old, and as such they may not represent the current state of Wine. Please consider submitting a new test report.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
Installation and uninstallation, the basic interface, creating an ISO image, burning a data disc.
What does not
Data disc mode is only able to detect certain optical drives; the rest of the program appears to be unable to detect any drive. The program hangs when trying to verify a disc. The audio player doesn't work.
The prompt asking how you want to burn a disc is broken: all the options are replaced with red Xs, and an error report message pops up when it appears. I suggest clicking "ignore" on the error dialog and then clicking toward the bottom of the mess of red Xs, so you can choose options on a screen that's readable.
There are various minor issues with the interface - black icons, missing icons, etc. The command line version doesn't work. Online help and anything else that needs to open a web browser does nothing.
What was not tested
Converting an ISO image, using a non-default burning speed, and probably a few little-used functions.
Additional Comments
Procedure to get this kinda-working:
1. Run winetricks dotnet20 to install the .NET Framework
2. Install CDBurnerXP
3. Open winecfg, and add an override for gdiplus on the libraries tab (this works around numerous bugs not mentioned here)
If you want to work with WMA files in audio disc mode, you need to run winetricks wmp9 as well.
Tested CDBurnerXP version 4.3.0.2015.
