What works
The game plays, but its not very good, performance wise. I had to turn everything down/off to be able to play and it still is sluggish.

What does not
Sound. Turning sound on will result in the game crashing upon launch.

What was not tested
I only played the race. Did not get a chance to go through the campaign or other modes.

sound problems
by mzneverdies on Friday December 17th 2010, 1:49
game fails (does not launch, get stucked on a black screen) when sound is enabled.

right now i'm using pulseaudio on arch linux, and on the game options i've tried pulseaudio, alsa, and oss, but nothing, same result.

the only way to get it running is to disable sound on game's settings.

also, when shadows are enabled, there are some graphical issues, annoying but no big deal (just strange diagonal black lines over the screen, does not affect framerate).

Please, add info about xorg version you are using, video drivers and your video harware. Also, please check any overrides and additional software installed into used wineprefix. At least, it should not run without vcrun2008 (from winetricks), as for me.
