What works
Everything I tried except as detailed below.
What does not
If called from a terminal shell, opens its console window even though disabled in the configuration.
If used to start an application which has problems under Wine, Take Command is taken down with the application
What was not tested
Running every possible DOS command under Caveman
Additional Comments
As a registered 4DOS / Take Command user for the last 15 years, I have been part of a small but persistent group trying to persuade Rex Conn (the author) to port to Linux, but running under Wine is the next best thing.
