FL Studio 9 is a complete software music production environment.
Demo Limitations
All FL Studio demo versions are fully featured, giving you access to
features associated with the highest level of the program (Producer
Edition). Compose new songs and export them to WAV, MP3 or OGG. The
only limitation is that projects saved in demo mode will only open
fully once FL Studio and plugins have been registered.
Old test results
The test results for this version are very old, and as such they may not represent the current state of Wine. Please consider submitting a new test report.

What works
- Installing (about 6 error popups appear, just click OK everytime)
- Starting the application
- Playing the file NewStuff.flp
What does not
- Font smoothing was not on by default when I installed it, making some labels unreadable. If you experience the same problem, follow the instructions at
Add Vorbis-Ogg support (I.E. Built-in drum loops and FPC ... etc.)
wine notepad 'C:\windows\system.ini' or your favorite *nix text editor
(*nix path is '~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system.ini')
...And then add this in the drivers32 section:
MSACM.vorbis=vorbis.acm

OS version: ubuntu 10.04
wine version: 1.0 from synaptic.
Good things: It works very well. Doesn´t any lags. You can create project, save it, but can´t open projects, saved in demo verion. You can register it, instruments must works perfectly. I tried sytrus, 3x osc and other. So, works as win version
What´s bad:
at center of screen there is a window, you can close or move. If you switch to other app, that window still on top. Also borders of all opened windows(including pop-ups and menu)don´t erase ´til you close fl9.
Also there is a problem with soundadapter: any time you add new instrument, new flp-project or other you must go to audio settings and chenge audio driver. Unless you can´t hear sounds, record and play song.

please remove this version, as it is in the appdb already under FL studio 9.0 which should include all minor versions as 9.0.3 as well as the demo versions (which in functionality are the same as all other editions)
