The Curse Client is an addon manager that allows you to browse, install, and update your addons. It’s free, lightweight, and easy to use! There is version 4, but you can not install for .NET Framework 3.5 is not to the latest Wine version for temporary. More information here.

You have to install ie6 from the winetricks script.
Sometimes it crashes during the first run, just terminate it and run it
again and let it finish updating (if there are Curse Client updates)
You’re done! Just setup your Curse Client like telling it where your the game installation is located, and it will detect your
installed addons and check for updates.

this will give you version 3 from an external link on curses webserver, so you can run that version(and avoid further updates with .net. (which is buggy on linux)

I was able to install the Curse Client just fine, and I get to the login screen. Once I login, though, the curse client just goes to a gray screen and I'm not able to select any games or perform any updates.
