What works
After some additional installations using winetricks, everything works as aspected. Rendering could be a little bit smoother, but it's ok. Tested drawing of structures and querying the datase, view results etc. (normal usage)...

#wine regsvr32 SPR32X30.ocx
if not already done install ie6 vbrun6 (using winetricks)
