Additional Comments

Don't need any modification to Wine... It runs out-of-the-box...

The game is Very Slow inside Wine compared to Windows 7 (I can play it at 1080p with fullscreen, VSync, Full Graphical Quality in my Windows 7, but inside Wine I can't barely run it with 800x600 resolution, VSync, No FullScreen, Very Low Graphical Quality)

The game don't have any type of errors during normal gameplay (without any Linux Application opened together with this game)

Works!
by Sabun on Sunday April 7th 2013, 11:14
Works great in Wine 1.5.27 through PlayOnLinux. However, initially it would crash on start up. After installing d3dx9 though, it works fine. Maxed it out in graphics at 1080p, smooth as butter using my GTX 680 with 310 drivers on Ubuntu 12.10 64Bit. No problems here :)

Black Screen
by André on Friday December 3rd 2010, 8:16
I've installed with Wine 1.2.1 the PhysX , DirectX and vcrun2008 (all of them were inside the Blur DVD) without the winetricks and the game runned normally (though it was very slow - 10 ~ 20 FPS)... I've restarted my PC and when I did it the game did not worked anymore... It turned into a black screen...

BTW: I can run it on my Windows 7 at the full speed with full graphics without any slow down or glitches ( I run it at 1080p, FullScreen, VSync, Full Graphical Quality)

My Specifications:

Intel Quad Core 2.66, Intel DG35EC, NVIDIA GEFORCE 9600 GT 512 DDR3 VRAM, 4 GB DDR2 667 MHZ

BLur graphical hiccups and speed issues on Mac
by Steven Saric on Wednesday July 14th 2010, 10:27
In some races, the speed is almost unbareable

In others, there are sever graphical issues and the speed is even worse.

Ive made a video on what i mean, before some of you try and prove me wrong.

It has no improvements running in a virtual desktop opposed to rootless.

Ive installed d3dx9, physx and the dinput dll's

Download the video:
www.mediafire.com/?ojkojeythik

The video itself was done with 1.2-RC5 but it is the same problems on newer versions aswell.

My hardware:

Nvidia GeForce 9400M
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz
2GB RAM

The log shows nothing after running.

Im also on 10.6.4, if that really means anything to you all.

If you want any more information, feel free to ask.
