The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
Installation, Menus + Settings, Gameplay "works"
What does not
Sound does not work at all. The Game is unplayable because of 3-5 FPS (on High-End Hardware)
What was not tested
Playing the Game for longer than 10 minutes
Additional Comments
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 6x 3,2Ghz, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX285, 256.xx Driver. Needed to install the DirectX Files that come with the Game DVD, winetricks' d3dx9+10 don't work here. FPS are super bad regardless what settings. I was also unable to set my native screen resolution without virtual desktop (1920x1200 with VD enabled). MouseWarpOverride=force does not work properly either (like it used to work in other UE3 games)

No audio
by doctordruidphd on Monday November 5th 2012, 17:09
I thought I would try this again, now with wine-1.5.16.
This is kubuntu-12.10-64bit.
The game installs and runs after installing winetricks xact, but no audio whatsoever. There is no indication from pulseaudio's pavucontrol that is even trying to output audio. Tried setting the xact dll to "builtin", didn't make any difference.
The game is installed with its own .wine directory.
Other games (wolfenstein, witcher, witcher2) work fine, with audio, so wine itself is working.
Video slow and jerky
by doctordruidphd on Wednesday June 30th 2010, 20:39
I set up a clean .wine, and installed the game. It would not run without installing DirectX, which I did from the DVD. Now the game runs, but the video is extremely slow.
System is:
Dell XPS 630i q9550 dual core-2, 8gb ram, 2x Nvidia 9800 GT cards, several hundred gb free disk space.
kUbuntu-10.04, kde desktop.
Video effects on the desktop are turned off. Also tried with gnome desktop, same problem.
Note that Witcher, Oblivion and Wolfenstein all run correctly (in their own .wine directories) so the system should handle the game.
Found bug, need help.

There are no ghosts. I mean, there are places in game where you should see some people running, screaming or such, like "events that took place in past and are shown as ghosts". I don't see them, they are invisible or game don't draw them at all. Well, i watched youtube videos and know what happened. But, it's bug. Any idea how to fix it?
