The test results for this version are very old, and as such they may not represent the current state of Wine. Please consider submitting a new test report.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
Editing, formatting, hyperlinks, opening, closing, printing. Main functionality is almost faultless (with exceptions below).
What does not
Prior to wine 0.9.30 the only thing that sometimes did not work was copying and pasting within popup windows.
With 0.9.30, a new bug appeared (and persisted after reinstallation), or the menus 'disappearing' when a file is opened. The 'File' and 'Edit' menus will disappear, and on one occasion all the menus disappeared in turn each time a window was resized, requiring a reinstallation to continue using the software.
What was not tested
I've used this ancient, terrible, badly designed pig of a piece of Windows 3.1 software on Linux for two years, and have used every feature.
Additional Comments
Qualified for Gold or even Platinum prior to Wine 0.9.30. The menu issue is a serious bug.

Special characters no longer work

Kubuntu Feisty and latest Wine version. Special characters to be copied and pasted from character map no longer work. This is a new problem. Perhaps a UTF8 issue.
In short, as Wine (and prob [K]Ubuntu) develops, support of this prehistoric program appears to be decreasing.
Although rather late as you have probably finished your course, I too have started to use the Advancing Physics folio views material and have spent valuable study time on getting this darn thing to work...
Ends up all you need to do is run autoreg.exe which is found in the Advancing Physics root folder where you installed it in your virtual WINE directory.

I had this working on Debian and now I've just installed it on PCLinux. It works but the fonts are different and it will not support the danish letters ÆØÅ.
The fonts have been different on both distros and a windows install. Do anyone know how to change them?
