Treasure chests, home portals, and the boss from Jade Way Lvl 10 are invisible. This is not a show-stopper as chest locations appear on the minimap, portal locations are fairly apparent, and the boss has a shadow.
What was not tested
Playing with the second adventurer character.
Additional Comments
To get sound effects and voices working it is necessary to override the DirectMusic set of DLLs ('winetricks directmusic') as well as dsound.dll (which can be pulled from the same package with a 3-line modification to winetricks.
I tested using the direct download version of the Demo from the developer's website rather than the Steam version. I don't expect this to make a difference.
