What works
Installation from a DVD, the game plays smooth with excellent  movies, 3D and sounds. Playable with full screen mode.


What does not

No commentator audio, the same behavior as PES 2010.

high CPU usages during the gameplay.


What was not tested
Online game almost there, but unable to proceed due to incompatible version installed. Apart from keyboard, other controlling devices was not tested. 


Additional Comments

I would say this game is almost perfect, running in full screen mode 1440x900 widescreen monitor, others wouldn't recognised that you play this game in linux until you minimised it! Previously with the older Wine 1.2 the game tend to crash regularly, however with the latest Wine 1.3.4 (windows xp emulation) not a single crash occurred.

My rating goes to Bronze (or Silver?) due to some reasons. No commentator sounds and the high CPU usages during the gameplay. Unless we have the proper CPU cooler, the game should be okay to play until the end.

Dissapeared hud and radar anfter update do 1.3.25.

Hello,

After i have upgraded wine to 1.3.25, there are no radar during the match play anymore, as well as the time, team names and score. Also there are no any power gauge, player name and any other thing by the active player.

Don't forget -opengl option if it can help

I forgot to mention in my submit, that by using -opengl option of wine, i have better results and the game is as efficient (except for the sound) as in my windows 7.

No-CD-Crack

Why the hell don't you inform that playing without crack is not possible?!? I searched it and there was no comment about it, so when u adding test data, DON'T FORGET to mention the fact that you had to use a crack to run the game!

Strange Prolem

I am using ubuntu 10.10 and when I run the game I feel that "someone" press on the up arrow.So, I can't choose correctly the game mode and I can't play because the players come up/

Not working!

I'm running ArchLinux i686 on an Inspiron 1545 with Intel GMA 4500.

The problem is that the game starts, but it stays on the black screen with the green circle going round. It doesn't freezes or crashes, it just stays there.

Any ideas?

Invisible Players

I got the game to load.. but no players can b seen...the ball is blacked out...i have wine 1.3.6, Ubuntu 10.10 2.6.35, 3gb Ram, 256vram, edited registry, d3dx9_36.dll

what can b the cause...thx

works very nicely on ubuntu 10.04, wine 1.3.5,

I have small issue with wine. My game resolution is 1024x768 and desktop resolution is 1440x900. When i exit the game from fullscreen my desktop resolution changes to 1024x768.

PES2011 works fine with 1.01 patch manually extracted the file from the patch.
there is no music while in menus and no commentary while in game.
sometime all sounds stop when cpu usage touch 100%.
Graphics r all working properly in game and menus.
is there any fix for sound

Only blank screen when launching

Hi!
I have installed PES2011 from original DVD. But when launching,
iI get only a blank screen. The loading indicator disappears after
a few seconds. I have also tried a nocd crack with the same result.
I had to insert the registry entries like in PES2010, without that,
i was told, that the game is not installed.
