This program requires a special font to be installed on the operating system running Wine. If you are simply running it from a Windows partition under Linux or some other OS, you will have to download and install Finale Reader from www.finalemusic.com to install that font. Otherwise, it will display a bunch of garbage when you are writing music. The latest version works fine.
