Using WINE 20040121
The game is requires Internet Explorer 4 or higher to be installed, and you need a Microsoft Windows license to do this.
Used the tutorial on Frank\'s Corner to install IE6, however, the chat in The Realm is does not work. At first the text shows up on one line and becomes overwritten when another event happens. After about five to ten minutes, the text starts to be garbled up, taking up the whole textbox.
Typing a message in the textbox and pressing Enter does not do anything. It should send the message to the chat, but the text stays in the textbox and does nothing.
The game itself is playable with sound but no MIDI music.
Old test results
The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
*Requires installation of Internet Explorer.
The game is playable, with some annoyances. Chat seems to work without error also. Only the scrollbar bug hinders gameplay.
What does not
-Interface elements which are intended to be draggable are not.
-Scroll bars do not scroll past a set number of elements. This is an issue with spell lists, and inventory in the game, effectively cutting off access to the last elements in spell lists and inventory.
-Textboxes when talking to NPCs are set to have black text on a black background, and are therefore unreadable.
