Description

Project IGI

Think your way in...Shoot your way out!

Set in post-Soviet Russia in a time of corruption and blackmail. You take on the role of David Llewelyn Jones, an ex SAS soldier who has been sent on a Black Ops mission to capture a stolen US nuclear weapon and prevent a second chernobyl disaster.

Project IGI encompasses all the excitement of a first person shoot-em-up coupled with realism, adrenaline and stealth of being an authentic soldier.

How to solve the "escaping mouse" issue:
by Cristian Dogaru on Friday August 22nd 2008, 11:17
How to solve the "escaping mouse" issue:

1. Install PlayOnLinux - get it here: www.playonlinux.com/en/download.html

2. Install Project IGI INSIDE PlayOnLinux, and make a shortcut to it INSIDE PlayOnLinux

3. Install Wine version 0.9.58 INSIDE PlayOnLinux: Tools -> Manage Wine Versions, select 0.9.58 from the list and click "Add"

4. Download this file: rapidshare.com/files/115359174/dinput.dll.so

5. Copy the dinput.dll.so to the folder /home/YOUR-USERNAME-HERE/.PlayOnLinux/WineVersions/0.9.58/usr/lib/wine

6. Open the folder /home/YOUR-USERNAME-HERE/.PlayOnLinux/configurations/installed - you should see a file named as your shortcut created at step 3 above

7. Open the shortcut to Project IGI and add the following line just below the other "export" lines:

export WINEFORCEMOUSEWARP=yes

8. save the file

9. Run the game

10. Enjoy!

if the rapidshare link above gets broken at some point, well.. we'll see then :)
