Big Problem!
by Andrea on Saturday June 16th 2012, 3:51
Hello, I'm very desperate :(
I got Playonlinux and wine 5.5
I downloaded a .iso for this game and when I install it on wine everything seems to work fine (I uploaded it and I cracked it), but when I open it I just can't read anything! There are these fonts in a kind of bold style or something, but they all look like a black spot. When I install it on Playonlinux, the progress just crash when it's about to finish and says there's an error with wine.

PLEASE HELP! I want to play this game so bad :(

Thank you

Deep Game Play Crash
by Varaia Roshon on Wednesday July 20th 2011, 16:34
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS -64bit
Wine 1.2.34 must be in Windows 7
Nvidia GeForce 210 Video Card all gameplay settings on low

Game loads and plays great until I got pretty far into it. Had all buildings except spy, and wizard. Have run two different games and does not seem dependent on any particular game action. When loading saved game the sound fails during loading screen but still loads the game and your can play a minute or less and then you get a program error.

"The program TSM.ex_ has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. blah blah blah.

I have no experience to troubleshoot this to know if it is the game or maybe a sound or video driver. Will keep experimenting.

Blank or Distorted Screen after Intro Segment
by johnnysnatch on Tuesday May 24th 2011, 11:59
Has anyone else found a solution to the blank or distorted screen after the introduction? I have tried the recommended solution as per the ATI problem, but am not having the same good fortune.

I am on Ubuntu 10.10 using Wine 1.3.20 on Lenovo ThinkPad SL510 with Intel proc and Intel graphics card.

Always depressed bug?
by Tim Cooper on Thursday March 31st 2011, 6:18
This cant be the way the game is supposed to be played? My Sim (I've tried royal and priest) Both of them start out with rock bottom focus, and within moments of play get "dangerously behind on quests". Those 2 debufs stay with you the entire time and no matter how many positive focus buffs you get, you continue to have the lowest possible amount of focus.

Other strange things you have are that buffs and debufs will have a -negative 2 million minute timer and after placing 2 buildings, the total number of placed buildings is "-1.#l"

Are ther other packages required?
by Metastopheles on Tuesday March 29th 2011, 3:50
Mine starts and plays intro with above packages listed, but I just get a blank screen at game selection screen (I think it is the name kingdom screen), are there other DLL's loaded as well (Rinaldus)? I used Winetricks and am running wine 1.3.16 on and AMD/ATI system.
