Configuring wine

On the terminal, type:

$winecfg

1)Adding the application on winecfg

First of all, we should add the application to the list so that changes on wine settings don't affect any other application. Click on "Add application..." and navigate to the burger shop executable. The default location is in Program Files and in the directory Burger Shop or Burger Shop 2(depending on the version you are playing).

2) Make sure Burger Shop is the selected application and then go to the "Graphics" tab. On "Windows Settings" make sure "Emulate Virtual Desktop" is checked. This is not required if you change the options in-game and selected windowed mode.

3) This step can be skipped because sound works out of the box now (tested in wine 1.5.5 but sound was probably working a few versions before). If you have an old version of wine,  then: Go to the "Audio" tab, and on the bottom you will see a drop-down listbox named "Hardware Acceleration". Set it to emulation.

Click okay and you are done.

Full Screen
When in full-screen, the screen will appear to be on the top-left corner of the screen, but the mouse clicks are made as if it is on the center of the screen. The menu items are highlighted when you are above them, so it is possible to navigate to options and change to windowed mode. Alternatively, use "emulate virtual desktop" from winecfg, as mentioned on the How-To.
