What works
Big improvement of 2009 which was the last version I tested. All features tested work well with the exception of help which sometimes displays only a blank screen in the help popup window.
Using timidity still works for midi output. Here is the script I use to start BIAB.
sudo pkill timidity
timidity -iA -B2,8 -Os &
aconnect 15:0 128:0
wine "c:\\program files\\bb\\bbw.exe" $@ &>/dev/null &
What does not
help does not work well. Sometimes the help popup is a blank screen.
What was not tested
iphone/Android app.
Additional Comments
Need to use timidity as mentioned above. also helps to locate gm.dls on the web and put it in windows/system32/drivers
set wine config type to XP.
