You need to install DirectX from the this link:

I tried DirectX from Winetricks but that didn't work for me. You can try.
Also I didn't do anything in Winecfg. I ran the game, had sound in the Intro bit but lost it in the menu.. Went to Help and Options and turned the sound up :D So no need to disable Alsa and Emulate.
