Sibelius Scorch 6.2.0 in Wine 1.5.18
by Olivier Ernst on Thursday December 20th 2012, 19:00
I was able to get to work in Lubuntu 12.10 using
- Wine 1.15.18
- Firefox for windows 17.0.1
- the Windows Flash Player 11.5 Plugin content debugger (for Netscape-compatible browsers) (www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html)
- Scorch 6.2.0 for windows (www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/download/get.pl?com=sh&prod=scorch)

1 Install wine and timidity

2 Install in wine environment
- Firefox for windows
- flashplayer_11_plugin_debug.exe
- Scorch620NSPluginInstaller.msi

Sibelius Scorch Plugin

Add to the info above. You need to have a Windows version of one of the supported browsers installed.

As far as I can see, it's no good trying to get it to work with Linux versions of the browsers as the plugins are dll's.
