The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
Pretty everything: playing arround, following quests, dungeons and pvp
What does not
The cursor keeps active while playing but everything else seems to work fine.
What was not tested
I've not tested AVA or RAID dungeons yet.
Not tried to install from non-steam client.
Additional Comments
It is not as smooth as running on a windows system and you may have to work a little to make it work.
Recovering info from another version's posts, forum comments and my own experience, this are the steps you must follow to make it work properly:
Before you install the game you will need winetricks the following
- vcrun2005sp1
- xact
- physx
- mono26
- d3dx10
Install the game from STEAM.
then you must regedit the file placed on your
/home/YOURUSERHERE/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/global agenda live/PreReqs/prereqs_on.reg so steam will not try to install the preReqs.
Now, the game shoul open. If you have not installed d3dx10 becouse you had it before, make sure you install it again if the game is reporting an error or not showing after the launching screen.
IF you heard the game but it is not showing, try alt+tab and look for a transparent application, thats the game.
If your game is still not launching, make sure you have the d3dx10_39.dll to windows/system32/-directory in your wineprefix . Else, get it from internet, place it and reinstall dx10.
Finally, once the game is working, we have 2 more steps to follow.
To make the sound work you must go to the TgEngine.ini file (located in /drive_c/Program\ Files/Steam/steamapps/common/global\ agenda\ live/tggame/Config/TgEngine.ini) and change all "bApplyEffects=TRUE" or "bApplyEffects=True" to "bApplyEffects=False".
To solve the popup and panel not showing the info, you only have to use the game in windowed mode. It could bring you some problems, the game window can be too little for the entire game to show. All you can do is to close the game and open it again, you'll see again the same little window, but you can then minimize the window and bring it to top again. At this moment you should see the game with so little resolution, go to settings again, set the same resolution you have on your monitor and change mode from windowed to borderless or from borderless to windowed, both works fine.
All is done. Hope this works (it did for me on 2 computers) and you enjoy the game.

Fix for Missing Textures
by Jen on Saturday April 21st 2012, 10:03
If you can't see textures on dyes (for instance the camo dyes) or the spiffy Tier 5 dyes, then make sure "High Material Detail" is checked. I don't notice an appreciable degradation in performance on my NVidia 250GTS with it checked.
