The software managed to play DVDs successfully, however I did need to install native Direct X 9 first (setting Wine to W2K mode.) The disc MUST be mounted prior to starting the software, otherwise the drive is not recognized. The playback is a bit choppy whether or not the "Enable Hardware Acceleration" box is checked, but it is watchable.
Using native nVidia drivers (8200M) on a Core 2 Duo P8600.
