game settings: 1280x1024 fullscreen, MSAA 4x
game runs almost perfectly. only some arrow hitting animation missing effect, just showing black square.
framerate is smooth. drops a little when huge horde of orcs comes, but not too much.

Graphical Glitches

There is a graphical glitch in the from of small black boxes over projectiles and some textures. According to the developer's forums, this is a widespread issue on PCs, not just a wine thing. Setting video on low fixed it for me on the demo.
Stopped working between demo and full install

The demo worked fine for me, so I preordered. The final version downloaded through Steam fails to launch. It did try to run DX and VC installers, so I made sure I had them up to date via winetricks. Now my launching window sticks around for a few seconds, instead of vanishing quickly.

Hello,
How did you install/launch the game ?
I mean, the installation seemed to succeed, at least there were no error displayed, but launching the game through steam (directly with the button in steam, or with the link wine/programs/steam/Orcs...) just does nothing (only a launching tab and steam-windows which disappear).
Did you do something special ? Some winetricks install maybe ?
