What works
Everything except multiplayer.

What does not

What was not tested
Multiplayer: I simply didn't test it because I've too much bandwidth in use ATM, and I know it won't work because of that.

Additional Comments

Used a brand new wine prefix, just ran
wine OriginSetup.exe

Followed setup, installed the game from Origin.

On my first try, the game finished installing, but Origin did not reflect this. I killed the process EAProxyInstall, and Origin showed the game to ready to play.

This is an ORIGIN bug, and not ME3, so it's still a platinum.

try to start origins in terminal instead of wine, I have connections issues with origins if I start it from wine directly. Multiplayer works fine for me, unfortunately tho I don't much like the multiplayer part but it could grow on me I guess.

multiplayer

Multiplayer doesn't work. It lets me search for a game but always says that my connection to the game was lost and kicks me back out to the multiplayer menu.

Origin "You must be logged in as an administrator to continue" error
by Smotko on Thursday February 16th 2012, 16:26
I didn't a get a weird error before the download started but after the download finished clicking the Ready to install button froze. I forced close it and changed to windows 7 but now clicking on the Ready to install button gives me a "You must be logged in as an administrator to continue".
