Can't delete save game?!

Just got The Walking Dead from the current Humble Weekly Bundle. Started a game, got used to how you do things in here, and now I'd like to delete the save game and start over properly.
Installed Steam in Wine, which runs fine, the game runs fine, but the save game files are nowhere to be found, neither are its config files. The Telltale Games folders in Documents are all empty - so how do I get rid of save games here? I haven't enabled cloud saving, either - can't do that anyway, all options pertaining to that are greyed out.
All that's left for me to say is WTF?!

the sound lags so bad for me on ubuntu 12.10 wine 1.5.19 that the game is unplayable :/ (if you consider the game unplayable without any sound that is)

when starting the game, most times it just keep "connecting...." very few time it do connects and the games work flawless. Ubuntu 11.10 i tryed sever wine versions (1.4.1 / 1.5.3 ... 1.5.13 / 1.5.17)
