installing directx9 greatly(!) reduces lags and loading times
install Microsoft Corefonts to get subititles displayed correctly, they look somehow weird otherwise,

Video Choppiness
by Michael Malott on Monday December 30th 2013, 22:41
I submitted test results for Mint 16 Petra but I can not figure out how to update it. So I'll post a quick update here.

My submission and comment about the choppiness of the game was under Mint 16 Cinnamon edition. I have since reinstalled and am using Mint 16 KDE edition. The choppiness has been greatly reduced to the point of nothing under KDE. Not really sure what the exact problem is.

I have to note that the option to "suspend desktop effects for fullscreen windows" is checked in my KDE desktop options.

Can't delete save game?!
by A.G.R. on Saturday June 1st 2013, 0:52
Just got The Walking Dead from the current Humble Weekly Bundle. Started a game, got used to how you do things in here, and now I'd like to delete the save game and start over properly.
Installed Steam in Wine, which runs fine, the game runs fine, but the save game files are nowhere to be found, neither are its config files. The Telltale Games folders in Documents are all empty - so how do I get rid of save games here? I haven't enabled cloud saving, either - can't do that anyway, all options pertaining to that are greyed out.
All that's left for me to say is WTF?!
