Stuttering, Felt some stuttering in performance. (Fix avail, look in comments)
Joining someone from Steam (by invite or join game in friends) seems to fail by connecting to localhost instead of the actual sever.
Steam in-game overlay, does not work correctly and may crash the game, you are recommended to disable the overlay for this game.
What was not tested
Game works good except for issues mentioned above.
Generally OK, though the lightning/stuttering issue is noticeable.
__GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1, gives lower performance in all cases.
Wine CS-0.8 fixes lightning/stuttering issues and improves performance up to 100%* in some cases. If you still get stuttering try cl_forcepreload 1 in game console.
*Again, up to but on lowest avg it gives about 10-20% up to 100% depending on scenery.

Controller keep activating
by Gethyn ThomasQuail on Thursday May 29th 2014, 2:21
For whatever reason, the game constantly switches between controller input and mouse/keyboard input making it almost impossible to use the menu. I even have -nojoy set and I have my 360 controller unplugged and this still happens. Anyone else having this or no how to fix?

Every 10-20s I lag (stay still) and am warped a bit back afterwards.
My ping is higher than in CSS, which is weird, so I am going to test this over the next days and in local bot matches to see if this is a network thing or a wine issue.

Menu's are great. Game itself goes to a white screen.
by Tom on Saturday December 21st 2013, 0:06
I finally got this game to at least start up in the menu's what with my Radeon card and all (7850). There's a screenshot floating around of regedit and I took the vender and product ID numbers strait from there to edit my regestry keys. Not sure if that's what's at issue, but my menu's are working great, but then the loading screens have a very low framerate and after that the screen goes white.
CS:GO and Teamspeak 3
by Matthew O. on Monday December 9th 2013, 14:01
I have not yet had the time to debug this properly, but I hope this might help others having problems with CS.
The following occurs for me:
After a system boot, if teamspeak 3 (native) is launched and actively used before running CS:GO in wine, CS will not start up. If ts3 is then closed, CS:GO will run, it is possible to start ts3 up again aswell. Once CS:GO has started up properly at least once, the error will not persist.
I have not been able to find ANY console/log output from either wine or ts3 to explain this behaviour.
Very low FPS
by Artur hoOmE on Friday November 22nd 2013, 17:58
Hi, i'm using Arch Linux and trying to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Wine.
I have desktop a Phenom II x6 processor (1090T/3.2GHz), 8GB of RAM divided by four Corsair 1600MHz memory banks running in DualChannel and a GeForce GTX770 2GB Direct CU II OC Edition from Asus.
And i have a crappy FPS, something like 30, in some maps like bank the FPS gets lower than 20 and unplayable.
I know that sucky machines can't run modern games, but, i don't think that is the case, i've runned games far more heavy than CS:GO like Batman, RAGE, Crysis 2 and others pretty well with nice FPS over Wine and Portal 2 that use basically the same engine as CS:GO has pretty nice FPS.
Ove tryed to "wake-up" my computer by turning CPU and GPU in performance mode, it helps, but not much.
One detail, the FPS is crappy even on the lowest graphics settings.
