The game installs and launch the game menu,but for some reason the game quit to desktop when I try to change,start anything.

Crash when pressing a key

I succesfully launch this. However, it crashes whenever I press a key on my keyboard. If I use the mouse only, it works fine.

Weird lag

Every 10-20s I lag (stay still) and am warped a bit back afterwards.
My ping is higher than in CSS, which is weird, so I am going to test this over the next days and in local bot matches to see if this is a network thing or a wine issue.

Menu's are great. Game itself goes to a white screen.

I finally got this game to at least start up in the menu's what with my Radeon card and all (7850). There's a screenshot floating around of regedit and I took the vender and product ID numbers strait from there to edit my regestry keys. Not sure if that's what's at issue, but my menu's are working great, but then the loading screens have a very low framerate and after that the screen goes white.

Any suggestions?

CS:GO and Teamspeak 3

I have not yet had the time to debug this properly, but I hope this might help others having problems with CS.

The following occurs for me:
After a system boot, if teamspeak 3 (native) is launched and actively used before running CS:GO in wine, CS will not start up. If ts3 is then closed, CS:GO will run, it is possible to start ts3 up again aswell. Once CS:GO has started up properly at least once, the error will not persist.

I have not been able to find ANY console/log output from either wine or ts3 to explain this behaviour.

Very low FPS

Hi, i'm using Arch Linux and trying to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Wine.

I have desktop a Phenom II x6 processor (1090T/3.2GHz), 8GB of RAM divided by four Corsair 1600MHz memory banks running in DualChannel and a GeForce GTX770 2GB Direct CU II OC Edition from Asus.

And i have a crappy FPS, something like 30, in some maps like bank the FPS gets lower than 20 and unplayable.

I know that sucky machines can't run modern games, but, i don't think that is the case, i've runned games far more heavy than CS:GO like Batman, RAGE, Crysis 2 and others pretty well with nice FPS over Wine and Portal 2 that use basically the same engine as CS:GO has pretty nice FPS.

Ove tryed to "wake-up" my computer by turning CPU and GPU in performance mode, it helps, but not much.

One detail, the FPS is crappy even on the lowest graphics settings.

Someone can help me?

Latest update broke it.

So, with the latest update to CS:GO, the game refused to launch (using wine 1.7.6). There were NO debug messages out of the ordinary (as in: different from when it still worked).

Downgrading wine to 1.7.1 made the game fully playable on a platinum-level again.

noisy sound

Be aware that if blocking a player in game, the file voice_ban.dt gets created. This file will stop cs:go from launching next time. To fix it, remove the file.

30FPS After Map Change

Okay, so I'm trying to play either Left 4 Dead 2 or Counter Strike Global Offensive but whenever I start either game, I get a bunch of graphic issues...I can hear the sound just fine, here is a screenshot of me trying to load CS:GO...img823.imageshack.us/img823/2306/screenshotat20130414073.png don't mind the other monitor. Sometimes the screen will be blue, I can listen to the whole intro, so the audio is fine...Here is the output from Terminal when launching it by "wine csgo.exe"
