Additional Comments
I did not test the installer under 1.1.16; the app was installed under an older version of Wine.
Early versions of the installer for Movie Magic Screenwriter 2000 used a program called Shrinker to compress the setup-32.exe file. Versions of Wine prior to 1.1.6 could not decompress these files, and the install would abort with a Shrinker error message.
The easiest way to get around the Shrinker error for this program is to upgrade to the latest development version of Wine. If you need to stay with an older version of Wine for some reason, there is an updated MMS2K installer that does not use Shrinker that you can download from http://support.screenplay.com/answercenter/questions.php?questionid=82 and use that to install the program. (You will still need to have your original install cd mounted in the drive.) The install should go flawlessly.
Note that even if your particular version does not have Shrinker, if you have any version of MMS2K older than 4.73, it's a good idea to download the newest installer, as version 4.73 fixed a number of bugs in the program that were present even in Windows.
I have not tested online validation, which is only needed if you want to run the program without the original cd in the drive. Without validation, either the original cd or an iso of it must be mounted before starting the program.
