Setup

Login (in terminal type wine cmd then you get a normal win command windows then type msnmsgr.exe your username and password and hit enter.

Then msn opens and login.

What does not

All other you need to use msn messenger.

What was not tested

Chat because you can't see your online friends (you can't see your offline friends either)

HOWTO

Using winetricks install: msxml3, flash, riched20

Then just install MSN Messenger 7.5 with the default Windows xp version.

After the installation using winecfg change the Windows version to win2k.

And you will have you're almost perfect MSN Messenger 7.5.
