Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)

What works
Just a short test, this: installed v1.0 (Complete install) and updated to 4.0 without an issue, unzipping the 4.0 patch to the suggested location. The game loaded fine and a quick start of the game allowed a turns to progress with no issues

What does not
In very limited testing: nothing was found not to work.

What was not tested
Multiplayer, custom games, custom maps. Most ingame options.

If you want to have your desktop resolution and not the game's 1024x768 you can add the line below in the Alpha Centauri.Ini file.

[Alpha Centauri]
DirectDraw=0

Works for me without crashes on Fedora 14, wine 1.3.9.
