Offcial BFV Patch needed
by Mark Carbonaro on Sunday January 6th 2008, 2:27
Just in case anyone is having trouble getting this to work, I found that the game wouldn't even start unless the official BFV 1.2 patch was installed. There is also a patch to v1.21 which needs to be installed to play on most internet server, but for single player 1.2 is fine.

if game does not start ... (bug 9644)
by Anastasius Focht on Sunday October 28th 2007, 19:19
Hello,

make sure you have set: "renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1"

in "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield
Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\settings\VideoDefault.con"

This allows the game to accept/use all native display refresh rates.
Otherwise the game might not start at all (crash).

Regards
