Additional Comments
First I could not get this to start because of the "Unable to initialize graphics system" error, with compiz-fusion on or off.
After then setting the emulate desktop to 1024x786 this bug disappeared but I still can't get the game to run in fullscreen.
The ingame config does work so you can resize the rez and this works perfectly stable along with compiz-fusion

by mothergoose729@gmail.com on Tuesday July 6th 2010, 23:04
I managed to get the game installed just fine and it runs really well, but it will become unresponsive if I attempt to save or load any current game. I don't know where to go from here. Wine version 1.1.42.

I have been fiddling with Wine, Winebottler, Crossover, CrossoverGames; and i have had no success in getting my RCT2 CD to install and port over on my mac. Everyone seems to have no difficulties doing this so i'm wondering. How is everyone else getting this game to work. I'm on an intel mac and everything. Just what app and what settings is everyone using?
Scrolling issue
by William on Friday February 12th 2010, 21:11
Everything seems to work great for me, except for scrolling when the mouse is at the edge of the screen. Up and down work fine, but when the mouse is on the left or right of the screen the game doesn't scroll.
video problems
by paul lethbridge on Friday December 28th 2007, 16:50
I've noticed this a couple of times while playing RCT2 that the frame rate drops to 1 or 2 per second then after a few seconds it's back to normal. I'm not sure if this is caused by the game or that my 256 mg nvidia 6600 is heading for the farm. any thoughts?
rct 2
by paul lethbridge on Saturday December 22nd 2007, 17:07
I had some issues installing in ubuntu 7.10 but it is running very well with both add on packs. I've been able to add Rct1 themes. Only issue I have is with the right mouse button, but I'm getting used to it now.
Works good but...

RCT2 works good, but its noticeably slower than when using windows. This is my first time using wine so i wasnt sure if this is normal or not. Is there any way to speed it up?
