mouse bug still a problem

I tried using mousewarpoverride=force to fix the mouse problem. This fixes the 360 degree bug, but I can't move the mouse in menus or inventory screens. I can select in menus with the keyboard but the inventory bug makes the game unplayable. I tried wine 1.3.14, 1.3.24, and 1.3.28.
