What works
Everything works pretty fine when configured as below:

What does not

Small glitches with video and sound that can be fixed:

If you get only the background without the the actors appearing where they should be,
change the X color depth to 16 bits.

If you moving the mouse around leaves a trail and "erases" the scenario, edit the file

RABBIT.INI in the program dir, and set ChildMode=1.

If you also any sound issues (mainly when running the mouse), run winecfg, open the

audio section, set Hardware Acceleration in Direct Sound to Emulation and also check Driver Emulation.

That's it, now it should work perfectly.

Those tips works with most of the Reader Rabbit versions.

What was not tested
Non-portuguese versions were not tested, but I think they should work with the above tips.
