What works
Version: 1.01 and 1.04 Beta
-autorun -installation(with extra videos) -Mplayer installation. (partly) -patch game to version 1.01 and update that to 1.04 Beta -game menu(not very well if CD is mounted or NO-CD fixes used) -menus(if CD is NOT mounted but then only Multiplayer is available because of copyprection), sounds.
game might be playable with good NO-CD fix.
What does not
-Mplayer installation had one error popup
IF GAME CD IS MOUNTED(if it's not mounted then menus are draw corretly but only multiplayer game is available because of copy projection)
-game start with 800x600 and screen in totally black but rarely it start so
that I can see the menu but it do not draw any graphics. with Wine
desktop it will work more often but still do not drawn. -if drawing some extra graphics above the game window(in wine Desktop or going different virtual desktop) game screen become black again. -navigating menus might or might not work at lest I hear sounds when cursor is under menu or when I click menu items.
-with nocd fixes (1.04 Beta) game acts like orginal CD being mounted (screen is black)
What was not tested
-did not install shorcuts or DirecX 7.0A. -did not read the readme in installation or changed default installation location. -single player, multiplayer via IPX, modem/serial and Internet (via MPlayer, which doesn't exist anymore). -uninstaller.
Be sure to use Wine version 0.9.16 if you are using the CD (you can join a multiplayer game without the CD).
When start the game, the screen is black. Switch to another program (Alt + Tab) and then back to the game, and it should appear.
Elements such as taskbars designed to cover other applications are not
hidden when Warlrods Battlecry is run in full-screen. This can be fixed
by not allowing the window manager to control Wine applications (can be
changed in winecfg), or by changing the taskbar's options so that
windows are allowed to cover it.
Multiplayer To get multiplayer working, place the DLLs in this archive
in Wine's windows/system32 directory. Then, start winecfg and add dll
overrides (native, builtin) for the following DLLs: dplayx, dpnet,
dpnhpast and dpwsockx. NOTE: the game freezes when exiting a multiplayer game.

Still not working quite right

Using the April 8th, 2006 patch, Battlecry still isn't working. While most of it works, it crashes when choosing to build items in the keep. (Also, the buttons are blank. Odd, as the screenshots show the buttons.)
Debian, ATI official drivers, V 8.24.8. Battlecry 1.0 and 1.0.3.
