I only played the first two missions.


Additional Comments

I only needed to use winecfg to pretend to be Win95 otherwise the game wouldn't start (but the game clearly reported it only worked on Win95).

WARNING

The game does not run correctly on SMP PCs (more than one CPU core or HyperThreading enabled); HyperThreading can be disabled in the BIOS setup.

 Another way to workaround this is to use a tool named schedtool to set the affinity of the wine process to one CPU only.

schedtool -a 0x1 -e wine RA95.exe

 
HOWTO
  • Change the Windows version to win98 to make the installer work
  • Run SETUP95/SETUP.EXE to install the game
  • The Windows version for 'RA95.EXE' must be set to win98
