What was not tested
Difficult to say. I have a single eMail address whose data resides on the house file server. A Rexx script on Windows and a Tcl script on Fedora manaage the serialization locks. Five userid's are supported - only one of them can be running at a time. Windows and Fedora exhibit the same functionality and behavior. In short, the testing under wine is identical to native Windows testing.
Additional Comments
There are 15 i686 machines on my home network. Five boot under GRUB and run both Fedora and Windows 5.x (2k & XP). Wine makes the choice personal and not technical. Thanks
