Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)

What works
input, fonts, installer, MIDI playback

What does not

requires msvcp60.dll to run (http://www.dll-files.com)

switching tools is very slow (5 seconds)

What was not tested
MIDI controller input

Additional Comments

I'd give it a gold-silver alloy if I could, because it runs in a perfectly usable state, with some slowness in switching tools. I tried with a fresh Ubuntu install, so I might not have graphics acceleration running, yet, and that might help.

I don't know why I can't select Wine 1.0 in the release menu. It is the current stable version of Wine. I had to select 1.1.1 without the option.

To use Finale 2006 with Wine, you'll also need MSVCP60.DLL, which can be downloaded at
www.dll-files.com/dllindex/download.php?msvcp60download0UGmREbEdR

Unzip and copy this file in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/ .
