Clarification

Which version of Midtown Madness is this? There are currently three versions of Midtown Madness, two of them for PC.
Midtown Madness (Chicago Edition) was the original game released in 1999. I couldn't find any reference to this game on the AppDB so I assume its included in this entry, but this entry has screenshots from Midtown Madness Two, which is a different game.
Midtown Madness 2 is the sequel to this game released a couple of years later. It has London and San-Francisco, and seems to be the closest match to this AppDB entry
Midtown Madness 3 is XBox only so I wouldn't expect an AppDB entry for this game.
So which versions of this game have been entered to AppBD and where can they be found? Particularly I can't find any reference the original (chicago) game on AppDB

by likei tellu on Monday February 26th 2007, 18:26
ATTENTION! I ALMOST GOT THIS GAME WORKING!!! I have MM running on a dell, windows xp, blah blah blah, and Suse 10.2 can read the HD of the dell. (suse is a really old gateway). I copied the entire directory of MM from the dell, to the gateway.
I then typed in...
# wine whatevertheexeiscalled.exe
it started up beautifully (spell check) I got to the loading screen, (this is the part i skrewed up at) and checked the shell script to find that it kept going around in circles. *tear cry*
I'm a noob at linux so if anyone can figure this out, that would be AWSOME
