Installshield starts and then fails with an error message box that says...
AVR Studio 4.10 must be installed.
This error is not present on a clean Windows XP machine.
Install worked but failed to run
by David on Tuesday March 6th 2007, 10:06
Using fresh wine 0.9.32 install on debian etch I got the same failure to install. However the install did work when I used the environment set up by ies4linux. The installer for upgrading to avrstudio 4.12 build 498 also worked.
But launching avrstudio now brings up an error dialog box:
"Framework Class: Error while connecting to ROT: -2147221164"
followed by another:
"Error in creating avrFramework"
AVRStudio 4.12 + wine 0.9.29 Fails
by Nathan on Wednesday January 10th 2007, 21:41
This fails for me.
Wine 0.9.29 gives many fewer errors than the previous versions.
The install sheild hangs. A small window opens, but I can't tell what it is saying. The video is messed up on it.
The output from wine is:
err:ole:get_unmarshaler_from_stream Failed to read common OBJREF header, 0x00000001
fixme:ole:NdrClearOutParameters (0x7e07ff60,0x12c4212,0x7e080094): stub
