As per pmail.com: "V4.3 has been through nearly 60 betas and 14 release candidates, far more than any
previous release of the program, and I can count well over 1500
changes in the code. V4.3 is largely about modernizing the
Pegasus Mail codebase as a platform for future development,
and represents the last version 4 release there will be"
Old test results
The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
Uploading mail, testing sound with a wav file (Tools -> Options -> User Interface -> Reporting/logging -> New Mail Reporting -> Play a newmail alert sound)
What does not
In a draft, when pressing the send mail button on a draft or the close button, Pegasus crashes with the WINE error:
fixme:storage:StgCreateDocfile Transacted mode not implemented.
When sending, you don't actually lose your message; the next time you run Pegasus, its waiting in the que and all you have to do is press the 'send all queued mail' button for it to send.
There are various other crashes when closing windows with the [X] button (e.g. Folders Window)
What was not tested
I only tested sending mail; thus, I did not test receiving mail or any of the more specialized functions. I also did NOT use any Microsoft DLLs (as per previous reports, using DLLOVERRIDE can help fix things)
Installer has some text cut off.
As per http://kbase.pmail.gen.nz/viewfull.cfm?ObjectID=E1D7B847-576A-4BA3-BEE13F10C9FF1D02
To run, use "wine winpm-32.exe -Z 128".
Internet Options will be greyed out on the first use; go Tools -> Options -> General Settings -> Advanced Settings and for "Load Internet Services (WSOCK32.DLL)" select Always or On Demand Only. Close and restart.

Version 4.31 has also the "Shutdown" - problem.
No I found a solution; it's not elegant, but useful.
I use the German version of Suse Linux 10.0. At the dialog I use the possibility .
So if I want to exit PegasusMail, first I take the in the file-dialog of pmail, then I close the terminal-window.
After this prozess Pegasus is closed in the normal way and without problems.
Perhaps somebody has a better idea to take this more elegant. I'm only a beginner of Linux, so I try more than I know.
