Everything from installation to gameplay. I found no lethal bug at the time, and everything is fine, even disc protection - I don't need any No-CD patch. I'm running with Windows parameter set to Windows 98.

Wine seems to be the best way to run this gem as of today !!!
Safedisc won't let you launch the game unless you apply THISfixed exe. This is delivered as a US no-cd patch but it should work for all versions, and others cracks simply don't work because they require some unimplemented kernel32 functions.

This game runs poorly on windows, crashes occur frequently (once every ~15 minutes)

Released in 1999 months before Windows XP came out, "Omikron : The Nomad Soul" has therefore never been tested or certified to be compatible with what was - at the time - still a "soon to be" operating system. Please, make sure your version of Windows XP has its "Windows 98 compatibility mode" activated. If so, and if you are still experiencing problems, please contact Eidos or the customer services of the shop where you bought the game for a refund.
