unknown demo version number (but the CasinoIncDemo.exe file that's present following the installation gives the date of 2003-02-11)
Old test results
The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
* Installation, shortcut placement on desktop * Starting the game demo * Clicking through two initial splash screens (which are white instead of what they should display) * Main Menu, changing display options, quitting game demo, starting a game * In-game option menu brought up via ESC key * Viewing the overhead city, moving mouse around to navigate city * Moving mouse cursor over walking people to see info about them * Top-Left toggle drop-down menu * Uninstall via ALT+F2 "wine uninstaller" without quotes, manually removed the hiscores subdirectory and related directories remaining after uninstall, manually removed desktop shortcut icon
What does not
- Once inside a newly created game, it's impossible to continue playing because when you go to click on your Casino to bring the view inside it, the mouse cursor icon changes from a hand with a pointer finger to an uppercase letter I looking graphic (not really an I but the closest I can describe how it appears) which doesn't respond to clicks on the Casino building or your rival's building. Since it's impossible to click on your Casino you can't actually play this demo as intended. - Initial splash screens are all white instead of displaying logos - Main menu background is black and white (at 1024x768, all white at lower res.) instead of showing the normal content
What was not tested
+ Nothing further was tested as actual gameplay isn't possible (see What Doesn't Work Above)
~ Using NVIDIA driver version: 1.0-9631
~ This is the first time I've been able to actually get past the Main Menu and into the game world. Even though the demo isn't playable at this time beyond what I've attempted above.
