Direct3D dosent work
by Nikita on Thursday August 2nd 2007, 14:08
I've to turn d3d off for Wine-0.9.40, or stuck with black screen with x11 cursor over it. Even starting bink video doesnt play in d3d.

also I got minor cursor glitches, where wine doesnt use cursor provided by AoW2 in hardware cursor mode, or draws x11 cursor over AoW2's cursor in software cursor mode.

You need to renice wineserver to get mouse (and keyboard?) input
by Ville Aakko on Friday July 13th 2007, 12:01
Hi!

Actually, the game works if you renice wineserver. I find that a nice value of 10 works fine, but some make it 19 straight away. Look at AoWSM entry: . It has apparently the same problem.

Also, this might have something to do with bug #6086, or then this is a totally another bug. But, I noticed, that in AoWII you'll also get a little input if you give successive STOP and CONT signals. But renicing works better (unfortunately not for MOO2).

Not installable
by RaduB. on Sunday May 28th 2006, 8:08
Doesn't install because the gfx progress bar is missing (the .avi error).
