Old test results
The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
"The Sims Deluxe Edition_EZ.exe"
and
"The Sims Deluxe Edition_eReg.exe"
What does not
Installation fails.
"wine /cdrom/start.exe" complains "fixme:font:WineEngRemoveFontResourceEx :stub"
after showing an unlabeled yes/no selection window in which yes returns to another
similar selection window. Selecting no terminates wine with the fixme complaint.
---
Trying to bypass the unnecessary autorun sequence by launching
"wine /cdrom/Setup/Setup.exe -l0009" produces a short complaint
about a page fault.
See the extra comments / additional information for the actual
error messages.
What was not tested
The game itself.

Installer work-around
by Patrick Georgi on Friday June 29th 2007, 5:41
on 0.9.39 the installer fails after the first screen ("Welcome at InstallShield Wizard, bla bla") unless I use WINEDEBUG=oledlg.
In this case, I get further, but it fails on entry of the serial number, as the field lengths are truncated by one (there are 4 text fields, sized 4, 7, 7, 4, but I can only enter 3, 6, 6, 3 characters)

Amos que me gustaria mucho jugar en la versión unstable de debian para 64 bits, y que si se hace compatible se hara para siempre ya que es un juego que no va a cambiar ya mas. gracias por adelantado.
NoCD Crack
by Michael Tracy on Thursday June 8th 2006, 21:44
For some reason, when I use a cracked .exe, I get an alert that says "Fatal Error: Could not find the Sims data directory." Wine doesn't show any errors when this happens though.
Wish I could test it without worrying about SafeDisk.
